Project: 3860 (Run 272, Clone 11, Gen 6) v. fast / crashed.

Post by kiore »

Had a strange cpu work unit, 3860 R272 C11 G6.
Ran according to FahMon at 1016 PPD, which seems extraordinarily fast, then EUEed at 22% followed by my system crashing..
core status = 72.
Was thinking it was a problem with my system, but that seems an unusual PPD for a cpu client.
System = Phenom II 940 running at 3.4 GHz at 39Celcius, winXP.

Re: project 3860 very fast then crashed.

Thanks for reporting that - how very strange!
Someone else completed that unit successfully, though you and two other donors had early ends.

I went to your CPU page to see if I could find the unit. It wasn't listed: the machine has submitted other work units since then.
However, it looks as if you've EUE'd a couple more times, both times for zero credit. :(
Project: 3864 r48 c7 g14 and
Project: 2499 r86 c22 g1
You might consider running some stability checks on those machines.

Yes when this one crashed it EUEed 2 in a row straight afterwards, seems to be only that systray client having problems, the console and GPUs OK. Have now stopped the systray and no further problems.
But that does seem a strange work unit never had anything that fast before that wasn't a test unit.
