Project: 2671 (Run 20, Clone 3, Gen 83) 10x normal

Post by GTron »

Project: 2671 (Run 20, Clone 3, Gen 83) has 2,249,998 steps instead of the normal 250,000 and won't finish on my folder before deadline. I have deleted this WU and am folding a different one now. Could someone in the Pande Group please address this WU on the server side?

Thanks,
Greg

No help but I have picked this unit up as well and had to delete it as it takes 83 mins to run 1% and I have no chance of completing it within the deadline

I've marked this WU as defective.

Was issued this WU again last night (lather, rinse, repeat), but hopefully for the last time -- thanks Bruce.

Have picked this unit up for fourth time at 11.01 am GMT - maybe it's just a timinhg issue now. I'll see what happens after current unit finishes.
Thanks

The same folder of mine picked this up yet again last night (3rd time). Have yet again deleted it and now again folding a different WU. Really hope this is the last iteration.

Hate to repeat myself yet again, but:

except now it is my 4th time.

This has been reported all week by 3 of us. Some effective server side action on this bad WU would be appreciated.

Finished Unit 3065 during night and picked up 2671 (20,3,83) again. Deleted unit and got 2669 which completed this evening and then picked up 2671 (20,3,83) yet again. Can this be resolved please as now had this faulty unit 6 times.
Thanks

Completed unit tonight and the new unit is not 2671 (R20, C3, G83) so perhaps the problem is now solved or might that be the result of me having to use qfix to send last unit in as it hung on closedown which might have deleted or sorted out my files. Hope this helps.
Thanks

I had 3 clear days and 4 completed units then overnight I picked this up again and wasted time folding it. So that's the 7th time I've got this unit.
Can someone please do what's necessarty to get rid of it.

@bruce, Is toTOW the only designated WU killer at FAH?

Jokes aside, can you or the PG do something about this?

Thanks folks. I'll be closing down for a few days later tonight due to a course I'm on so won't be able to tell until later next week.

I got this bad WU for the 5th time last night (Feb 19 @4:16 UTC) which would appear to be before it was stopped based on the date/times on the above messages.

Thanks Peter and toTow!
