Project: 2668 (Run 2, Clone 156, Gen 17) -- at 1718064%

Post by tear »

Greetings good people,

Peculiar thing -- while log[1] is showing progress at 78%, unitinfo.txt[2] is giving 1718065% progress
[lots of "pipe" characters]. Anyone seen anything similar? I vaguely remember issues of
this kind with other cores/WUs; it's the first time I'm seeing it with A2 SMP.

Ref 1:

Code: Select all

Writing checkpoint, step 4438180 at Mon Oct 13 11:56:24 2008
[18:01:57] Completed 190010 out of 250001 steps (76%)
[18:09:31] Completed 192510 out of 250001 steps (77%)

Writing checkpoint, step 4443120 at Mon Oct 13 12:11:22 2008
[18:17:06] Completed 195010 out of 250001 steps (78%)
Ref 2:

Code: Select all

Clues?

Been there, done that. viewtopic.php?f=44&t=4710
The issue is cosmetic, except it messes up some third party monitoring clients.

Thanks for the hint. Ye, it sure does mess up monitoring but then again I hope I don't see such units too often.

Just drew my attention -- checkpoint code is polluted too:

Code: Select all

Writing checkpoint, step 4443120 at Mon Oct 13 12:11:22 2008
[18:17:06] Completed 195010 out of 250001 steps (78%)
Step # 4443120 doesn't look right, does it?

I'll dismiss the issue for now.
