My father is getting a similar symptom though I'm not about to embark with him on how to get his Log file here in the forum.
I will TRY to verify his project number but basically my 8800U gets pegged 1 second, off 5 seconds.
Display goes between the WU and the 'default' model synchronously with this 1/5 second waffling behavior.
Any suggestions or known issues?

FahCore_14 was intentionally designed that way, though I'm not sure that the times are the same for everybody. The points assigned to those projects take all of that into account.
