Like some other Project 2671 WUs, this one has too many steps for my Mac Pro 2.66 GHz Dual Dual-Core to complete in the time allotted.

InCrease predicts that this WU will complete on 02/09/2009 @ 19:59 UTC, past the deadline (Mon Feb 9 01:47:00 2009). I am going to follow the suggestion to force an early termination and send the partial results.

I noticed that FAH seems to be ignoring my 8 minute Checkpoints, too, so I am waiting for the 9% mark before killing this WU.

Update: Well, that did not go as well as I might hope. The QFix/Send didn't find anything to send, so I deleted the WU from my Queue. I now have a different WU (P2675R2C50G69) to Fold, so I'm hoping I'm back in business. We'll see in ten or fifteen minutes...

Well, that's not nice... After one normal 250000 step WU. the Assignment Server has re-issued me this over-sized WU again. I want to give BSG my undivided attention and now I'm going to have to fix this. Maybe if I had a 3.4 GHz Dual Quad I could finish it in the allotted time, but not with my Mac Pro.

...and one more time. What needs to be done to fix this WU? I'll just keep deleting it and trying for normal-sized WUs for now, but I'm sure this isn't good for the science.

I stopped this one on the server. If you can update to the 2.04 core, that will help stop generating these bad work units. Thanks for the report.

Thank you. I'll wait until the end of my current WU and delete the FAHCore_A2.exe file

Update: Both Mac SMP clients are running with the new v2.04 FAHCore_A2 executable. Any hints as to what's different from the v2.01 or v2.02 versions?
