Project: 2665 (Run 2, Clone 715, Gen 52)

Post by wickedwahine »

I got this WU yesterday and it didn't seem to get anywhere
Some errors were:
[06:15:27] Folding@home Core Shutdown: INTERRUPTED
[06:15:31] CoreStatus = 66 (102)
[06:15:31] + Shutdown requested by user. (Was not!!!) Exiting.
Folding@Home Client Shutdown.
or
[05:47:40] Warning: long 1-4 interactions
Client shuts down on its own...
Anyone else has problem with this one?

Yesterday I restarted about 8 times manually, it would go to about 5 to 8% before getting errors, finally deleted the 2665 on its own and I got Project: 2668 (Run 1, Clone 452, Gen 10) which ran just fine, but right now the same 2665 showed up again and is having same symptoms as yesterday.
I am a noob, and don't really want to mess with deleting and renaming directories... Any ideas?
Thx :)

You could try updating your client to 6.23beta which has improved handling for these events: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6142

Is there any way to stop getting it? I got it 3 times already, grrrrrr!
Sorry to sound silly but what is partial credit? :?: They give you some credit for having tried to fold a bad WU?

If you upload results that contain useful data, you get credit proprtional to the amount of data returned. Usually this is equivalent to the % the WU reached, but sometimes it is not (if the WU "failed" earlier but kept processing for some time after).
