I finished this project sometime yesterday August 10, 2008 but for the first two times it wouldn't send and I got this.

Code: Select all

[20:17:25] + Processing work unit

So I saw that it said server does not have a record of this unit twice so figured the server must be down but later on it successfully sent the finished WU after the next two failures.

Code: Select all

[04:20:38] + Attempting to send results
[04:20:54] + Results successfully sent
[04:20:54] Thank you for your contribution to Folding@Home.
[04:20:54] + Number of Units Completed: 202
But so far I've seen no credit for 225points which is what the WU is worth so I'm wondering if there is any record for it. Or if the unit was lost/ the server that is it on is busy? It's not in queue anymore either.

I did restart the computer but the WU was already finished and in queue and I didn't pause it before restarting so it should have caused no problems at all. I'm running version 5.03 on the computer this WU was finished on.

Thanks. No problem then. I just wanted to check like with all missing WU's. Better to be one of the few that go missing instead of finding out I have a problem with my computer. I had another one which may be because of the outage but I'll ask anyways to be sure.

P4010 (R=0, C=270, G=137) 295Points

It was completed Mon 3:17AM CST my time maybe just before the power outage. Got all my missing WU's accounted for accept this one. Was the first of the ones that I was waiting on.

Weird I must have screwed up my adding somewhere maybe it's the P4019 (R=1 C=242, G=49) if not I have no idea.

I was curious if there was a way maybe people could check their own missing WU's like they could put in the info and their name when logged into the forums or would Standford not like such an automated system? It could decrease the small fry problems, since users could check say up to 5 a day or something, unless Standford has it the way it is for security reasons or to catch as many bad WU's as they can?

Or do people usually ignore the odd WU that doesn't show up unless the log file shows something weird?
