When I run the latest 7.4.4 installer, a dialog box pops up saying 'XP and above required,' and won't install.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro, so this shouldn't be a problem.
The NaCl client runs fine, and it installed and ran just fine on a nearby laptop (also running Windows 10).
Any idea what the problem could be?
I see no one has responded which is unusual around here. I think we need more information to help you..
Are you installing as a user with administrative privileges? Running the installer as administrator?
I personally have just evolved my clients to Win 10 but they are successfully and happily running on Win 10 home and professional as well as both 32 and 64 bit.
If this problem is still persisting let us know and I will uninstall and reinstall in 10 to see if we can get some insite to your issue.
Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).
I tried installing it again and it just worked.
I tried again and got the same error.
In fact, it seems like the installer randomly decides to run properly about 1/4 of the time.
So, the solution was to just keep running it until it worked.
