Missing WU?

Post by Baowoulf »

I don't know if this would really be a server or a WU question.

After folding a WU Project: 6511 (Run 2, Clone 60, Gen 64) it completed successfully but failed to upload 3 times. Which I assume just was because of a busy server since my other CPU client had similar upload troubles. At this point I only had one completed WU and it hadn't yet downloaded a new one to work on. Yet it gave me a message that would make you think that there were 2 completed WU's waiting to be uploaded.

[11:51:30] + Sent 0 of 2 completed units to the server

I got this message 4 times before the 1 completed WU successfully uploaded. Did the client just not get a WU recieved message on a previous uploaded even thou the upload was sucessful like I've read about happening in the past? Or am I missing something?

Code: Select all

The portion of the log that you posted only shows activity with unit 00. If there's a second WU, it might have shown in the previous or subsequent portion of FAHlog.

,Have you considered running -queueinfo and seeing what it says? That, or the 3rd party tool "qd", are designed to answer questions like this.

Yeah I checked my back records and each time the WU got sent in successfully so I don't know. Figured I'd ask anyway. I will look into those 3rd party tools specifically the ones you mentioned. Thanks.
