Project: 6013 Run 0, Clone 19, Gen 68 - Low PPD on Core A3?

Q9650, Win7-64

Upgraded to SMP v6.29 the other day. Got a passkey this AM. Got a Core A3 WU later today. So far (63% done) it shows only 925 PPD (up from 860 a little while ago), which is about half the normal SMP WU. Started at about 6 min/frame; now closer to 5:30.

Should we expect this low an output from core A3?

Sounds like you're not including the bonus calculation. Read the SMP2 Points FAQ and use a program like HFM.NET that can calculate the bonus.

Doesn't matter... Since this was the first "bonus eligible WU," there are no bonus points.

So the original question remains: What would the expected PPD be on a Q9650 at stock 3 GHz, both raw and with bonus?

I dont know about a stock Q9650 but a OC Q9650 to 4Ghz gives you

Project ID: 6013
Core: GRO-A3
Credit: 380
Frames: 100
Number of Frames Observed: 300

Min. Time / Frame : 00:04:01 - 8,189.5 PPD
Avg. Time / Frame : 00:04:06 - 7,941.1 PPD

The 6013 is the slowest of the a3 WU's the 6012 will get

Project ID: 6012
Core: GRO-A3
Credit: 470
Frames: 100
Number of Frames Observed: 300

Min. Time / Frame : 00:03:50 - 11,854.1 PPD
Avg. Time / Frame : 00:04:04 - 10,848.6 PPD

I have a Phenom II at 3.4Ghz and it gets around 4800 PPD on the 6013 and around 6400 PPD on the 6012 the a3's will reward faster machines with more bonus points.
