WUs to check for credit, please.

Post by djchandler »

These units were completed during the stats reporting snag about two weeks ago. I just can't tell when or if credit was given. All were uploaded successfully, but I no longer have the logs to show, just the P-R-C-G info and the upload times.

All were reported to server 171.67.108.24 (or alternate maybe)

1. Project 2671, Run 50, Clone 62, Gen 127 @ 05:09:08, 09/11/10 (y,m,d)
2. Project 2671, Run 24, Clone 82, Gen 128 @ 15:07:07, 09/11/10
3. Project 2671, Run 43, Clone 12, Gen 128 @ 03:12:12, 09/11/11
4. Project 2671, Run 43, Clone 08, Gen 129 @ 13:07:29, 09/11/11
5. Project 2671, Run 21, Clone 10, Gen 129 @ 02:21:05, 09/11/12

Sorry if this is kind of a pain, but somebody on my team just caught me and left me in the dust. Just put a notfred on a Windows box to run SMP units so I can try to catch him.

BTW, our team took a serious hit on that 11/11 stat problem. I'm afraid we may have completely lost our biggest gun after that. He was folding bigadv units on his 8 core box(es) (User:Plazzman). He's dropped from over 50,000 PPD to just over 8,000 PPD in just 12 days according to http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... s=&t=45104. Or is it possible he has a bunch of stats clogging the reporting system? We don't want to lose him or those points. We were really making a charge up the leader board until then.

I'm totally committed to Folding@Home and in this for the long haul. I'm trying to help keep our team members motivated and increasing their knowledge and abilities with Folding@Home. I'm a HUGE fan. After you find cures for Alzheimer's and Huntington's, I'm hoping the peripheral neurological diseases get some time on the system before I can't type anymore. Last time I was in for an EMG, the doc said, "See you again soon." I'm getting too used to getting shocked every six months. Surgeries for entrapped nerves is getting tiresome--just dodged another bullet (for the time being) a couple of weeks ago. So there's no such thing as this project going too fast, you know?

The forum Mods are unable to check if specific WUs have been credited since our database was taken off-line quite some time back. Since I do know that the Pande Group has not completed the manual re-crediting process, it's probably more important that they concentrate on finishing that task that to research individual credits (which might still be pending).

Thanks for the update. Just saw toTOWs post at
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=12123&start=90#p119769
and within that the link to
http://en.fah-addict.net/news/news-0-99 ... outage.php.

So some are seeing some movement towards this being resolved. Until now I think I underestimated the motivational factor of the stats feedback, even thinking some of us may be a little obsessive--not so much now as before on both counts. It was starting to look like we were not only losing stats, but contributors as well. I guess we all need to be a little more patient.

Some of us seem to be having a problem knowing where to look for updates on progress being made on the stats server. Would a sticky in the "issues with a specific server" category perhaps be of help?
