It's a bad WU affected by the "folds on 1 core" issue : viewtopic.php?f=19&t=11098

Current Work Unit
-----------------
Name: Gromacs
Tag: P2677R24C13G29
Download time: August 31 17:37:24
Due time: September 3 17:37:24
Progress: 12% [|_________]

I have several VMware clients over the last week or so have issues. The one above is the latest. My question is do I suck it up and let it fold or delete it? I havemt been able to just delete the work folder in the past (I get the same project back). How can I delete it with out having to re install VM from scratch? Last, what is Stanford doing about all of these bad WU's? Kind of frustrating to keep geting them. Thanks.

If this is the one with the ~1.5MB download then trash it. It will not complete on time.

You need to delete the queue.dat and machineindependent.dat files otherwise it will try to keep downloading the same bad WU. Same with either removing the files in the work folder or just "rm work/ -r -f". I have had enough of these and this is the only way to clear these bad ones out for now. Mr. Kasson is working on an updated to keep these from clogging up our folding systems.

It has been answered several places on this forum: Stanford is working on a new core which will contain a permanent fix for this problem.
