Project: 3064 (Run 2, Clone 118, Gen 16)

Running this WU on a Mac Mini (T7600 w/ 1GB RAM)... Was able to manually restart the WU the third time; however, thought I'd report the fact that there was something questionable @ 23% that caused a halt.

First run:

Edit: Note that during the first and second runs, the WU deleted itself (CoreStatus = 0 (0)) and was subsequently reassigned to this processor with an intervening project 2668 or 2669. The third time this WU was assigned, the WU halted without continuing (CoreStatus = 66 (102)). Manually restarted from checkpoint and has continued to run. (Still running at this moment.)

There has been some discussion on this but I don't recall a definitive answer..

If partial results are returned it definitely gets reassigned. If someone else has completed it you should be able to as well.

I just hate to waste CPU/electricity performing work that has already been completed. Hopefully, this is a rare occurrence.

Work units are reissued when
a) Their preferred deadline expires
b) An EUE occurs (it does send a partial result). If there are a certain number of EUEs on the same unit, then the staff pull it out of circulation.

Unlike some other DC projects, this one does *not* send out the same WU to multiple volunteers unless the above mentioned conditions occur.
