Powassan virus (POWV)

Medical news has been spreading on social media about the emerging concerns over the Powassan flavivirus (POWV) ... a tick-borne disease that can have long-term debilitating consequences for its victims (perhaps worse than Lyme disease - which is a Rotavirus). Even in recovered patients, symptoms can linger for a lifetime.

Is there any FAH work being done on Dengue Fever (a related Flavivirus), that is applicable to helping research POWV?

As always, Thank You ...

Dengue is a disease of interest for the FAH researchers (see https://foldingathome.org/diseases/infe ... er/?lng=en), but I haven't seen any work for it in quite a while.

I assume researchers could use PocketMiner to identify druggable sites in the diseases' proteins: https://pocket-miner-ui.azurewebsites.net/

it would be amazing if any findings from Dengue could be extended to POWV...
