GPU work not showing up right.

Post by Sandman192 »

Why am I showing 1 active client, when I've been running 2 WU for over a year? 1 CPU and 1 GPU. I've check, I'm still running 2 WUs on 1 PC. Plus, in I can't see what team I'm using for each PC within the new Donor Statistics like I could before. Also, clicking on my Username within the program and it does bring up the doner names site, but it's also blank.

This is 98% done for GPU work and this is all I get for GPU work.

The useful part of the log is the configuration, usually the first 100 lines. Without it, we don't know your GPU, your OS, or much of anything.

Your GPU seems to be an HD 8280.
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/r ... 280e.c2197
While technically supported ( it does 64 bit floating point math and supports better than OpenCL 1.2) it is so slow it will never complete a Work Unit. It is 12 times slower than the slowest GPU I know will finish a WU.

A modern driver may be
https://www.amd.com/en/support/previous ... on-hd-8280
But I don't think it will help.

Disable what thing? The GPU? Wall, the GPU is slow and only has 512 Gigs.
So, I just disabled it. If that what you mean.
It worked on GPUs before and F@H seem to did some changes. I'm not going to update the GPU drivers anymore. It's an old computer anyway.
Thank for the help.
