18432 - Split protein?

Post by aetch »

I don't normally look at the viewer but with recent talk I got curious.
I'm currently running a work unit for Project: 18432 (Run 37, Clone 20, Gen 22).
I see what appears to be either a split protein or two distinct proteins, what am I supposed to have?

According to project description (https://stats.foldingathome.org/project/18432), they are studying binding properties, so it seems logical to see two entities in the simulation ...

It could be periodic boundaries too : when the atoms are at the edge of the box, they wrap around and are displayed on the other side.
