My error was that the wu appeared not to be uploading. I should have posted sooner - I started checking after the affected wu finished, and found they were registering, I just wasn't getting an acknowledgement from the server. Once I was able to confirm that results had actually uploaded, I deleted the affected wu, as it no longer needed reporting. I still get the "error", but now know as long as I check whether the result had been recorded, I can just delete it.
