I tried different configurations and I have found three options on my system with 4 logical cores+discrete GPU:
1) (beta enabled) 3 slots: CPU (2core) + discrete GPU + iGPU
2) (no beta options) 2 slots active: CPU + discrete GPU. In this case a red tongue appears and when I check on FAH control the iGPU slot is running on the CPU project. In fact is a CPU core since it lacks one core to CPU.
3) (remove iGPU slot). 2 slots active: This is the option I want to select, cpu(3) + GPU. The only problem is the presence of a transparent and inactive iGPU slot in web control (not in FAH control). I did not find a trick to remove this last slot.
When I restart the system, the configuration (3) changes to (2)...

The simple answer is: Ignore the slot associated with the iGPU. It's not consuming any resources or producing any results.

Just in case anybody's still interested in Intel UHDs: I unpaused my UHD slot (Comet Lake, if that matters) a few hours ago, as I have been doing once in a while. Usually I watch it try and fail to get a Work Unit; only today it immediately bagged one, a little Moonshot job for project 13447. So I let it run. The driver has been updated at least once since it last got a Unit (it's now on driver 27.20.100.9466, released on 30 March) so I thought it worth seeing if it was now ok. However, it did a core restart at 54%, before completing the job ok. So I've paused the slot again.

My impression was as people have said before, that the total rate of work didn't go up much, because the cpu slot slowed down a bit. I started a thing called HWInfo to look at the reported chip temperatures. None of them are high, but some of the power limits of the cpu and/or IGPU are being reached.

A limited set of Intel iGPU have been enabled for beta-testing of on moonshot projects. We've discovered a couple of FAHClient bugs which actually depend on what other GPUs are in the same box. Yours might be one of those bugs.

Intel driver updates are important.

Yes, they're extremely slow but if the objjective is to find bugs, speed doesn't matter.

Which Run/Clone/Gen of P 13447 was this?
