I'm going to find a link to another thread where the "Interrupted (102 = 0x66)" error is discussed.

Ok, this may or may not help as I see you are running Windows. But I will post one of the thread links: viewtopic.php?f=80&t=36169&start=15

you probably need to reInstall the GPU drivers from nvidia.com. They distribute a more complete package that you get from Microsoft.

I expect that you'll need to reboot after doing so.

I do see a report of changing the number of CPUs from FAHCore_a7. That's a known bug. The first wu downloaded always works with only one CPU thread. After you set it to a larger number, the next Wu will normally use the number you've assigned.

I just looked Bruce, 457.51 is the latest WHQL drivers from NVidia for Windows 10. So maybe reinstalling them from the package he can download from https://NVidia.com/drivers will give him the missing files (or replace corrupted files if he does a clean driver installation).

Thank you to Paul and Bruce. Reinstalling Nvidia drivers corrected the problem immediately. A little surprising because it’s only three days since I last updated them and I always get these drivers directly from Nvidia. Ahh well - another one of life's mysteries. I hate it when my systems are not performing optimally and am happy to be back in business. :)

It could be that a Windows 10 update decided to modify or replace the Nvidia drivers that you had just installed.

I have an Epson V700 scanner that works all the time from Windows 7. But from Windows 10 several times a year a Windows 10 update breaks it and I have to reinstall the Epson drivers.

Yes, M/S does that periodically. When they decide on a minimum version of the drivers, they will "upgrade" them and when they do they will REMOVE the OpenCL support (which FAH requires) that you get when you use the drivers and from the manufacturer.

Does M/S not realize that there are some people who actually need to get work done on their computers, instead of playing the literal game of "whack-a-code" and re-installing the GPU manufacturers WHQL tested drivers that come with the library files that may be needed by other software???

Maybe the M/S executives in the product development lab should try running F@H/BOINC on their computers (using only what they expect us to work with [driver wise] for GPU folding).

Just my $0.05 (USD) worth of opinion here.

I've contributed my US$0.02 several times and agree with you.

To partially support the contrary point of view, most the original authors of OpenCL have abandoned it in favor of newer/better choices and have announced that it's "unsupported" on their OS.

NVidia supports v 1.2 and has not enhanced it in years. They developed a proprietary replacement "CUDA" and it's more lucrative for them.

AMD has pretty much declared it as unsupported but it still is critical for FAH and for others and it does work.

Apple has declared Metal to be a worthy replacement so it's no longer running -- though it was never really part of their corporate plan.

Intel has distributed bug-ridden OpenCL support on and off for years. They seem to mostly be past that point, now, but I'm seeing new reports so I'm not sure.

I had a cracker about 3 weeks ago.
My Ubuntu machine was running 18.04 LTS.
I powered it down, powered it up, the NVidia drivers no longer worked.
Just as well I had finished folding on the GPUs before powering down but I still had a WU on the processor.
I know very little about linux so the next 8-9 hours was spent constantly "apt upgrade" until the the NVidia drivers would install.
It now runs Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, not because I chose to but because that's where the upgrades took me.
I think Ubuntu had been installing security updates in the background, something got broken and it took rebooting the machine to highlight it.

I'm not asking for help, the machine is running just fine.

Unfortunately, Microsoft thinks it is their computer, not yours.

And that is why I will be putting Fedora 33 on the soon to be 16-core COVID-19 buster (replacing the original motherboard in what was the Windows 7 machine I started folding with). At least when I get it running smoothly, I can "whack-a-code" using the simple 'dnf update' command (as Admin).

BTW: Parts for that project have been ordered.... Christmas Eve (in the USA) will be when I assemble it, hook it up, and turn it on.
