Trying to manage multiple folding machines from my main

Hello everybody. So, as the subject suggests, I was trying to connect my Linux machine to my main PC (both of them are folding). I wanted to have an easy way to manage my folding performance of both machines. But when I try to connect to my Linux machine, it just says connecting and that's all. Of course, I have whitelisted the IP of my main. But even when I try doing it the opposite way (et. control my main with Linux) it still doesn't work. I even tried PuTTY, but it just QUIT for no reason at all. Instead of the IP I, of course, tried the hostname (claimed by terminal commands) but that did no good. For now, it's no big deal that I cant see what my Linux is currently folding, but I am going to keep folding even after Covid19 is maybe cured or whatever. As I said, it would be nice to be able to see my other machine. Thanks for any future responses, and see yall later!

It's a SQL database at /home/user/.FAHClient/FAHControl.db
All clients parameter are in there.

Just wondering ipkh, the ubuntu machine doesn't show up in the tab of computers. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The left side list of monitored clients? I've never had a problem with the localhost. I'm not sure if you can rename it.

Did you remove the 127.0.0.1 network entry from any of the locations it was originally set? At least one of those locations allows you to do that, it is required for connecting to the client running locally.
