Only BAD WORK UNITS Geforce GT630M (ANSWERED)

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Only BAD WORK UNITS Geforce GT630M (ANSWERED)

Hey guys, newbie here.
I'm sucessfully folding on a 16" (Windows Bootcamp I get up to 400k ppd, but remebered I still had an ancient PC that had some issues and hasn't worked in a while.
After some tinkering it's up and running, CPU is horrendously slow, but it does have a Geforce GT 630M which I would like to use (even though it's pretty weak).
So far all WU returend as BAD WORK UNIT (see example below)
Drivers are all up to date.
Is it a server issue? Is it a problem or incompatibilty with the GPU?
Am I wasting server resources and should just do CPU folding?

It's the GT 630M which cannot be supported for GPU folding. You should not have been assigned a WU that requires hardware Double Precision. but somebody removed that restriction. Please remove the GPU slot and fold with your CPU.

Another issue with the GT 630M is that it does not support OpenCL 1.2, so cannot fold. It just never will . It is 8 years old and was the very least it could be then.

Also if it could fold? It would never finish before the deadline.

Yeah I get your points. It has been pretty much ewaste since a while... so sad!

What I noticed as a potential bug (or feature?) that could be exploited: I seem to have more WUs completed than i think i actually did. Do those Bad Work Units when reuploaded count towards the WU amount?
If yes - this could be used to inflate numbers...

They count against your QRB 10% number... and they get reissued to somebody who has a ('real') ;) GPU.

Wait so now I need lots more WU to qualify for the QRB? To have the 80% successful return rate?
