covid-19

Post by Marci »

How do I know what kind of disease the machine is searching for? Somehow you can do it just to search for Covid-19? :P

Covid-19 has highest priority so as long as work units are available you will get them.
You can check the actual project numbers.

I don't think there's any way to know what project you're going to work on until the work unit is downloaded & you start it. At that point, if you know the project number, you can look it up here to get more details.

There's no way to specify that you only want to work on Corona virus at this point. But those work units are being assigned the highest priority right now, so if one is available you'll get it. If none are available, you'll be given a work unit for some other project. Personally I've been seeing a mix of Covid & non-Covid work units over the last few days.

Thank you very much. The schools have closed in Hungary so I can do more.

Is there a search engine that can see what the machine is looking for?

I am not sure I understand what you are asking, can you rephrase your request?

might be the answer, but I am just guessing.

Here's the list of all projects run on Folding@Home : https://apps.foldingathome.org/psummary?visibility=ALL

You can click on each project number to get description of what it is doing/studying.

The description of the project(s) running on your machine should also load and display automatically in Webcontrol interface.
