Is anyone using AMD GPU on OpenSUSE / Redhat?

I would like to use OpenSUSE for their snapper system, (very similar to a VM taking a snapshot of an install, or all the way back in 2001, Windows XP "system restore"), so that will help eliminate issues. I saw a thread about trying to get Nvidia cards to fold (GTX 650 Ti) and I was wondering if AMD cards are any easier?
