Caring in the community

As many of you know, my wife, Johnnie, died 11 October of heart failure. Kind words from my online friends made it easier.

I am deeply saddened to report the death of one of our dedicated crunchers, JaneH, wife of James. They founded team Top Cats and have been wonderful friends, especially in the weeks following Johnnie's death. Jane died three days ago on 11 December after a 9 year battle with liver cancer. As James said, "She beat it back again and again against all odds and led a good life until the very end. She continued to be active and traveled and biked/hiked, etc. when all thought it not possible."

Jane and James had been married 45 years.

May God bless all souls he takes.

"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, and with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world. You impoverish yourself if you forget this errand." Woodrow Wilson
