K10's (and K20/x shortly)

Was just wondering if K10's were supported, I have 4 servers each with 2 K10's for a few weeks?

Not sure if I'll have time to work around my 'network circumstances' to get the windows client up and running (Linux Client?) but if K10's are compatible I might invest the time and let them loose to see what they can do.

PPD? seen a thread mentioning 35-45k for a GTX690 so I assume the same for K10's?

There are several discussions about K10s. This one is not recent, but nothing has really changed.

No, a CPU will not match the PPD of a relatively powerful GPU. For a very rough guess, compare the GFLOPS numbers.

Do note that GPU folding is currently only on Windows. It will not work on Linux/OSX yet but there are working on it (No ETA).

It is true, that there is no officially sanctioned GPU folding in Linux.

But the unofficial GPU folding under Linux is doing quite well, in my experience, at least for NVidia GPUs. I currently have ten (10) Linux systems with GPUs folding, on everything from a Gigabyte GTS 250 (at the very bottom of that post), to a (relatively) high-end Kepler GPU (Gigabyte GV-N66TOC-2GD GTX 660 Ti OC). No hiccups or drama at all, they just sit there, quietly folding away the hours and days.

In fact, I have more GPUs folding under Linux (a total of 10), than I have folding under Windows (a total of 8). :egeek:
