It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.
Using the latest drivers, latest client, vanilla config and what not, my EVGA GTX 670 2GB card gets stuck at "Starting GUI Server". I've tried a bunch of different configurations and various steps to get it folding, but have had no luck. No matter what I do, the client stays stuck at the "Starting GUI Server." Interestingly, for some reason, FahCore_15 uses ~25% of the system (a 4 core system).
Here are the most recent logs. They pretty much all turn out this way no matter what I do:
So, following advice (which may or may not be "good") in this forum here: [0] (at the linked post), setting client-type="beta" in the blabity blah advanced expert blah, seemed to make it start. Now showing little-to-no-load on FahCore_15.exe, but full load on the GPU (monitored using GPU-Z). Fun times. Let me/future readers, know if I/we should be doing something different.
What GPU do you have? (You didn't post the top portion of the log which shows the system hardware report.)
You have downloaded a FahCore that works on a Fermi GPU. The developers are still working on a FahCore that works dependably on a Kepler GPU. (Sometimes the Fermi FahCore works and sometimes it doesn't.) If you have a Kepler, you really should wait.
Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).
Pande Group hasn't commented on waiting or not. However, using the beta setting means no support in the public section of this forum. Use the beta section.
P.S. Those same instructions you linked are already in this forum.

The log line [it's in the log pasted above]:
03:40:14:WU01:FS00:0x15:GPU device info: vendor=0 device=0 name=<NA> match=0
Paste the first couple pages of the log, including the **SYSTEM** segment where the hardware is detected. V7 still has some problems when there is more than one GPU and I can't tell if you have another one or not and whether you're running as a Windows Service (which is prohibited by Microsoft).
