Something strange with this WU. P5766 suggests it is a 353 pointer, that on any of my cards will run 1% in about 45 seconds. This one takes 74 seconds to complete 1%.
When I mouse over the systray icon, normally these WU's report "GPU - F@H: Working (xxx/15000)". This one reports "GPU - F@H: Working (xxx/24316). Is this a new type of WU disguised as P5766 or what?

That's an odd one - Thank you for noticing and reporting it.
We've seen some problems with SMP work units that act like they have thousands or hundreds of thousands more steps than typical for their project number. Often with such "bloated" WU we observe that the unitinfo.txt file is unusually large. I wonder if the unit you reported is showing the same kind of bug.
Would you please post a FAHlog.txt excerpt, especially the point where the WU downloads and anywhere in the FAHlog that mentions the 24316 steps? Also, please tell us the filesize of unitinfo.txt (or post a copy or screenshot of a "List in Detail" view of your GPU folding directory) And keep on folding the unit since it will surely complete on time. Meanwhile I'll PM the researcher to take a look at this thread.

Here's the FAHlog download/upload sections. FAHlog does not mention steps, but file sizes seems to differ from ordinary WU's. The WU did finish normally, but as it happened at night, there is no trace of the unitinfo.txt.
