When Windows Update installs a new NVidia ddriver, it only installs the video drivers, but before doing that, they remove the previous version of OpenCL and do not replace it. This destroys the driver code needed by FAHClient, breaking FAH.

If you download and install a new version of the NVidia drivers directly from nvidia.com, it comes with a usable copy of openCL. You can do that in anticipation of MS wanting you to run on a newer version. The fundamental piece of information that's often overlooked is that you can't predict when MS is going to decide to update the nV videow driver. You can check their list of recommended updates carefully and can avoid the whole issue by installing the same or better version from nV before allowing MS to perform the driver update.

Step 2 is essential. I've never needed to do steps 1 or 3 except when a new version of FAHClient is announced.
