Best practice for long idle times: Reboot? Login?

Post by yoyology »

Hello, all. I've been running FAH for a few weeks now, and I'm really enjoying it. It runs on my work PC, and I seem to be making good progress.

I'm wondering, though, if it continues to run if I haven't yet logged into Windows. I can't find anything in the FAQs that mentions this, and a forum search didn't turn up anything either.

I'm basically asking, if I'm leaving for the weekend, if I can reboot the PC and leave it not logged in, or if I need to log into Windows in order for FAH to run while I'm gone.

Thanks in advance for your help!

On Windows, the folding client only runs while you are logged in.

It will continue to run if you just lock screen instead of log out.
