Both nV and AMD have scripts which enable their drivers to work itn the ways that FAH expect them to. Installing FAH also involves a script that supposedly is harmonious with the way the drivers work. Each new distro of Linux also changes things.
At this point, I"d probably blame AMD but there are always work-aorunds. Maybe there is a universal driver installation script for AMD, but I doubt it. Good luck in finding it.

everything is working now but every time i start folding@home i have to put in the terminal
sudo systemctl restart FAHClient.service
is there a way to pertinently keep this working without putting the command every time

Online: GTX 1660 Super + occasional CPU folding in the cold.
Offline: Radeon HD 7770, GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC, RX580
