Post by gerbil1966 »

Below is an extract from the log.
GPU-Z tells me it is Open CL 1.2 OK and Cuda
The log picks out the drivers but does not see the GPU

Any help would be of benefit

Regards, Andy

PS I have had a browse for similar issues but most were in regard to Linux not W10 dut if there is the answer out there and I have not seen it, please show me the way.

There is a known issue with the version 7.6.9 installer and new installations the folding client, it does not download the necessary GPUs.txt file to identify usable GPUs. Sometimes it will do this after a reboot and restart of the client software, and then you can manually add the GPU folding slot.

If that does not work, download the file from here - https://apps.foldingathome.org/GPUs.txt. Then place it in this directory - C:\Users\Andrew Jervis\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient, and restart. Your GPU should now be detected.
