Re: RTX 3070
I just got the 3070, it seems to be slightly higher than the 2080 super, how do I get the little box Joe_H shows?

Re: Stat ranking: Credits, WUs, and the Donors list
the donors page shows #100 at 6 billion credits, even if you have a 16 core processor, it might generate 200-400,000 per day. You really need the nVidia 2080 or better to get big numbers. I have a pair of 2080 Supers, each averaging perhaps 2M per day, plus other GPUs and some 4-10 core systems for ...

Re: 16448 Bad Work Units, sortShortList errors
I have had several errors on an RX570 card. I do not think errors have occurred on my RX560, 5500, and 5600 cars, not my two RTX 2080's

Re: Pause CPU separate/independent of GPU
thanks, I have confirmed this works. This might need a different thread. Its getting hot now in Massachusetts. I just came across MSI Afterburner, which purportedly also allows lowering GPU power/temp? I am wondering if I can get a significant power reduction without giving up proportionate folding ...

Re: Ryzen 9 3950x Benchmark Machine: What should I test for
this morning when I posted, the 10-C Xeon E5-2630 v4, rated for 2.2GHz that I power limited to 2.0GHz was running at about 50K (Project 14704) is now show 77K PPD on a different project (13850). Also, I have an RX5600 that is normally 700K PPD, but could be 200K (13409). The 2080 Super is typically ...

Re: Ryzen 9 3950x Benchmark Machine: What should I test for
Interesting, my 10-core Xeon E5, SMT on, under-clocked to 2GHz from 2.2 rated, 2.5 turbo, is currently getting 50K ppd, but I have seen it as high as 70-100K. It is very unclear to me what the effects of SMT are, as there is variability from run-to-run, project related? High SMT scaling implies much...

Pause CPU separate/independent of GPU
I have several systems with supported GPU. There times I would like (nearly) full CPU for other tasks, that should not put much if any load on the GPU. I notice that on setting Folding Power to Light, the CPU uses half of the logical processor, and the FaH pauses activity on GPU whenever there is ev...
