Re: Issues with sending results

That loks like server or network congestion. It should keep retrying automatically.
CS = 0.0.0.0 just means no CS has been defined. This is not an error, but does reduce the options for returning work.

Not sure what happened there, both servers (WS and CS) report OK. Project team notified, though it may just be a "random" failure

Re: 128.252.203.10 Losing Work Units?

AFAICT the status tool uses the stats database to get its information

Re: What really happens when you delete a WU?

You might be waiting a long time. The message is (AFAICT) a recent addition, only one guy knows, and he is rather busy (understatement).

Re: 128.252.203.10 Losing Work Units?

Experience suggests credit is almost never lost, but frequently delayed. The stats server is under pressure (like the whole F@H system), but is not a high priority compared to the servers that affect the science.

Nothing you can change, collection servers are configured at the F@H team end.
The team has been notified (not by me).

Re: Will I lose credit for a W/U if I pause folding?

I've not tested that, but I think (as with download attempts) it will reset the retry timer. Whether that makes the upload happen any quicker is anyone's guess, and you will lose some points on the active WU.

Re: Detecting Idle

The act of looking to see if it's folding means the computer is not idle. Try leaving it for 15 minutes minimum and see if it makes progress while the computer is genuinely idle.

Re: Donar name change and their credit and WU related?

If you change your user name, you have created a new account.
To repeat, credit goes to and stays with the name that generated it.

Different server?
Yes bonus points are reduced by delayed returns. It's the same for everyone. Sorry.

It's almost certainly server overload, which will sort itself out eventually.

Re: can't send completed jobs

It's either a network problem, or (more likely) server overload. It will retry and sort itself out eventually.

Re: Limit maximum time to wait for retry

The algorithm is designed to protect a server if it goes offline, so it doesn't get instantly swamped on its return. In any case, if a server is overloaded (the usual reason for retries), the last thing it needs is more retries. Having said that, if the delay exceeds 2 hours, it can be reset by Paus...
