Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

No worries! You have the dev work, I can only add my experiences. You might be right, that HFM should be able to handle such large log files, but IMHO the log of the FAH client should not report these error exceptions in this way . Isn't it possible to log nothing for the GPU slot when FAH don't fo...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

@F451 - ok, I know what's going on... there is 8MB worth of log file with the large majority of it filled with ERROR:Exception: Option 'gpu-index' has no default and is not set as you mentioned previously. That's not the FAHClient's fault. HFM should handle this but the idea that there would be so m...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Has it been suggested that HFM could link to other 3rd party stats sites rather than just EOC? Searching didn't bring up anything of the like. The reason I ask is because EOC does not provide my stats because I am part of team 0 and am out of the first 2000 that it keeps track of. Kakao Stats does ...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Well... I can see how you got confused. Let me clear it up for ya. :) When setting up a "local path" type legacy client all the Test Connection button does is verify that the directory that was entered does indeed exist. It does not check for client artifact files like FAHlog.txt, queue.da...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

OK, like I thought, you don't have the path to your GPU client setup correctly. See the following line that is repeated over and over again. X (FAH6-GPU) The path C:\Program Files\HFM 0.9.0.548\FAHlog.txt is inaccessible. This is telling the user that there is no FAHlog.txt file at C:\Program Files\...

Re: Proper way to uninstall HFM net?

I want to uninstall the current version of HFM (0.9 ?) and put in the old 0.62 beta. Do I just shut it down and delete the folder? I tried to find out how it aut-starts with Windows (Vista Ultimate 32 bit), but cannot see it in: - Programs & Features, - All Programs, -Startup folder, -or Startu...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Definitely possible. You say "(the) client's computer name was accepted by HFM". When you enter the setup information are you trying the "Test Connection" button? If that works and shows slots in the grid below that... then you're in good shape. If HFM simply takes a while to get...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

I think the PPD on the web page is a culture specific issue. Since you displayed the PPD with a "." in lieu of a "," for the grouping character and a "," in lieu of a "." for the decimal separator. Under "Region and Language" settings in Windows, wh...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Hey harlam, thanks for your great monitoring tool! I have two questions: - one of my clients has completed 92 WU's (I did a search in FAH's log), but HFM is only showing 41 completed WU's (the counter seems te be stuck @ 41). - the PPD on the web page is wrong (HFM's PPD is correct). I have a Total...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Yep... that will do it. What language settings are you using with Windows? Is that Russian or Czech? I only test with en-US (English United States) settings, so things like this can easily slip by. This is something I can and will fix. Just need the proper language settings to reproduce it.

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Is it possible to change the Slot Type from Uniprocessor to Uni or CPU and change the heading to just Type? It would free up some space for adding more columns etc. Not a big deal but would help with organizing the interface. I like Slot Type. I think it will stay... with the client/core version in...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

OK, when you look at the log viewer for either of those Uniprocessor slots does it show the proper log section? How big is the log file for the local client? You can right-click on any slot and select 'View Cached Log File'. Can you send me your HFM.log file please? You can find me (harlam357) at gm...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v6/v7

Ah, logs!!!! Excellent!!! :) Regarding UNI slots, I have a V7 client with 2 of them + 4 GPU slots. When I updated to 0.9.0 the GPU slots track percentage/PPD fine, but the UNI slots do not. Is this because HFM has to wait for a few new frames to be completed in order to guage progress? Monitoring of...
