2665 (Run 3, Clone 497, Gen 93)

Getting several units not completing with "1-4 long interactions". Things seemed pretty good until the upgrade to v6.24. I'm also using the first release and not the 'alt' build since I haven't seen the 'Folding Point Exception' message. This is the first, the second comes from another mac...

Project: 3064 (Run 1, Clone 103, Gen 62)

Anyone else completed this WU? Could definitely just be this particular box. I just brought it online recently. This is the first p3064 it has worked on... any p2665 units have completed successfully. WinSMP v6.23r1 Q6600 @ 333x9 eVGA 750i Vista x64 Ultimate [02:35:16] Folding@Home Gromacs SMP Core ...

Re: Project 5801 issues. [Should be Offline]

It's not about capabilities of the cards. They are all capable of it. This is a clearly a big, be it in the core code or in the compiler. Agreed... if the cards are CUDA enabled, they should all be capable of running CUDA apps... no questions. If that is not the case with FAH, then something is wro...

Re: Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 121, Gen 50)

Thanks for the tip toTOW! I was aware of the Windows 6.23 clients and I guess I recall someone mentioning an update for Linux as well, but I figured it would be publicly available on the downloads page- since that client is not technicaly beta- didn't see anything there. Otherwise, the v6.02 Linux c...

Re: Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 121, Gen 50)

Thanks! <- opps... that probably isn't a tag in this forum. :D Yep... I'm trying not to rant on my Team forum anymore because it doesn't look good to newcomers- reading we seasoned Folders complaining about the clients... who would want to get into Folding if the people already doing it are j...

Re: Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 121, Gen 50)

I thought this was the section to report such... if not, my bad. :D

I really haven't been active on this board since the fall of the old FCF... so I'm a little unfamiliar with wheres & hows around here. ;)

Re: Project 5801 issues. [Should be Offline]

And implement that you always reQA a Project on the latest forced core, before you distribute the project. Record what core the Project was QAed on so you know if you have to reQA it before release. Precisely... nothing revolutionary... even if just a couple WUs were run, this problem would have be...

Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 121, Gen 50)

The log says it all... wish I would have noticed this one sooner... instead of trying to fold it ~5 times. :( That's what happens when one has to keep such a close eye on their GPU2 clients. ;) [11:19:30] [11:19:30] *------------------------------* [11:19:30] Folding@Home Gromacs SMP Core [11:19:30]...

Re: Project 5801 issues. [Should be Offline]

Well, there lies part of the problem... poor QA. Can you honestly say that not even one p5801 WU was not run on the most recent core before deploying them? I'm a software developer... I won't go into details about the software I develop but suffice it to say an engineering design engine is the meat ...
