Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers.

Thanks for the help Bruce. I made a regression post in the 376.19 thread.

Quick aside, do any flags give preference for the AVX WUs or are those luck of the draw? Trying to keep my PPD above the EVGA monthly minimum with the Titan out of commission

Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers.

Huh odd. Yes this first started occurring after I installed the 376.19 drivers. My Titan Black blew itself up so I moved the 750 Ti into this system. In the original system the 750 Ti was using the 372 drivers. Dunno if you want the reply in its own thread or not. Here's a partial of the log, I foun...

Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375/376.xx drivers.

So this is why the 750 Ti I have throws all sorts of crazy Event Log messages? \Device\Video4 Graphics SM Global Exception on (GPC 0, TPC 4): Physical Multiple Warp Errors \Device\Video4 Graphics SM Warp Exception on (GPC 0, TPC 4): Out Of Range Address \Device\Video4 Graphics Exception: ESR 0x505e4...

Re: Fialed to get assingment from 171.64-65-35

Using CPU:-1 on an eight CPU system with one GPU is effectively CPU:7, which is locked out on most projects (because it doesn't work well). CPU:6 is the correct solution for now. That would explain why two of my systems have been CPU idling for over a week. Since the F@H software itself defaults to...

Re: FAHBench 2.2

The only difference?? A 290X is able to out-fold a Titan Black, from what I recall they used to only achieve half of that.

Re: FAHBench 2.2

Should be much better for cross-comparing to Radeons now Why? The older cores were not well optimized for Radeons, they generally under-performed compared to NVIDIA cards. Core 21 offers much better performance on Radeons by comparison. With Core 21 projects a Radeon 290X can match a Titan Black in...

Same problem as OP, same server as well. 171.65.103.160:8080

Tried to check the server status page but it will not load either.

Re: Nvlddmkm stopped responding/recovers

I'm very relieved to hear it!

I had already modified several TDR settings, but nothing I've done had any effect. Could be I didn't modify the right one or Win 10 changed the options required https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... e/ff569918

Re: Empty work server assignment for CPUs

Thank you guys for the responses, I believe I now understand the full ramifications of that errant server. Hopefully it didn't make too big a mess of all those projects for you guys :)

Nvlddmkm stopped responding/recovers

I waited a few driver releases/months to see if NVIDIA would resolve this, but it is still occurring so I'll make a bug report about it. This began on day one of a clean install of Windows 10. It only occurs when Folding@home is running and I launch another program. It never happens when Folding@hom...

Re: Empty work server assignment for CPUs

For what type of configuration? Information on the number of CPU's configured as part of your system's request and whether set to Full or Advanced would be useful in determining which WS is out. Also, what OS and version of the folding client. This also might be related to the issue being looked in...

Re: Empty work server assignment for CPUs

It's back. All my machines are sporadically reporting empty SMP work assignment servers for the past week. Today, the latest one has been idle for four hours and is still waiting.

Re: Empty work server assignment for CPUs

After reviewing todays logs I can confirm all of my systems are posting intermittent Empty work server assignment errors in between WUs, as recent as an hour ago. Not saying this to be rude but I'd rather turn off my spare systems than let them idle until this issue is resolved, as the last two week...
