people using client-type beta

I have leafed quickly through the posted sticky about the beta team. As i understand it, there are certain expectations and requirements to run beta WUs and be on the beta test team. Due to the amazing citizen response and shortages in WUs, I've frequently noticed on social media ppl recommending to...

Re: 18.218.241.186: unknown: not enlisted on Server Stats

it's assign2.foldingathome if u enter it in the url it takes u to the page that displays "Assignment Server"
it's just that somebody forgot to update that on the serverstats webpage to replace the IP that starts with 172 with this new one

Re: the WU stats page

Thanks for the explanation! I'm still a bit lost b/c my reference point was from the server side perspective of the WU stats page, where "Received" and "Credited" are displayed in a table. I think from your explanation that the time at Time B becomes wu.log_time and this shows up...

Re: Need help with troubleshooting directions

Fortunately I just had some strange error where it was in the middle of a download and just stopped after a 30% download. Since I never fully downloaded i don't think I triggered the start of that project. My client wouldn't restart the download no matter how many times I quit the client and the fah...

the WU stats page

This will be extremely low priority so please don't bother the scientists or staff; just filed away here as something to do later. on the apps.foldingathome.org/wu page, after a result shows, there's an extra "Message" at the bottom. The timestamps written there are inconsistent with the o...

Need help with troubleshooting directions

Re: I received a WU that was already credited to someone els

I spotted a similar one here https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... 034&gen=12 despite someone posting their log where they got it assigned almost 25 hrs after the first person was assigned it despite it being successfully returned in 5 hrs. I wonder...? From Linus Tech's server video we sa...

Re: Stats Reading bad gateway all the time.

there's also a direct html page of your team which stays very up to date. I'd post it directly if not for this brand new account which doesn't allow links. It's practically the same domain except instead of starting with 'stats,' it is 'apps' then there's a slash with 'teamstats,' another slash and ...
