I'm going to suggest a couple of things:-
reboot your computer
disable/pause automatic updates
when any computer updates software it can interrupt and degrade folding performance

Re: Maybe the deadlines of WUs on RPI are too short
Well yesterday I tried to turn the folding power of my RPI 3B to light (2 cores) and get a WU. And I turned folding power to medium (3 cores) after I got the WU, hoping to fold faster, but the CPU usages stayed at 50%. But good news is that even so this WU can be finished just before the expiration...

Active Topic link
Can we get the "Active Topic" button added to the menu bar beside FAQ so we don't have to continually have to go through "Quick links" to get it.
I don't know about others but this is probably the link that I use most to see updates on forum topic.
Thank You

Re: Holy Base Credit!
They were launched during the Forum downtime, basically under the radar. They're probably missing the feedback that your species of GPU is not suitable for these monsters. I was actually wondering when we would see monster work units for the GPUs having had them for CPUs for quite a while now. So fa...

Re: Computer goes blank, won't revive-cold reboot required
Every time FAHClient starts it archives the previous log and starts a new one. You can find the previous logs in the folder - /var/lib/fahclient/logs Beyond that, I'd suggest a couple of things:- 1). download and install the proprietary driver directly from nvidia/geforce website. It's an absolute p...

Re: Maybe the deadlines of WUs on RPI are too short
Well my idea is just maybe it's better to not send weak devices any WUs. Sorry, I didn't answer this part of the question sooner, I had just rolled over it. I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. Graphics cards/GPU FAH keep the GPU.txt database file updated for the very purpose of identifying the...

Re: Maybe the deadlines of WUs on RPI are too short
I've been here before so this is basically a copy/paste job. Don't restart FAHClient from the command line, it doesn't like it, instead reboot the whole computer. This ensures the FAHClient runs under the correct user account with the appropriate permissions (it's not root). Get the IP address of yo...

Re: Maybe the deadlines of WUs on RPI are too short
The raspberry PI 3B are too weak to fold.
I believe the 4's are the minimum you need.
To control a linux machine I'd normally suggest setting up remote control and running the advanced control panel on a windows machine.

Re: FaH api for retrieving donor's ID from JSON
And now, there is no more flat files What do you mean? I'm having no problem getting them, there's simply something going on which is preventing them from being updated. The teams flat file gives you the team ID number. You should then be able to filter/search the user/donor flat file for everyone ...

Re: Work unit upload failures
Yes. Since the original post I've had another 16 failures, 6 off to 128.252.203.11 alone. The rest of the new failures were spread among 7 other servers. TBH, most are single failures where the work server fails the upload so a collection servers picks it up instead. The ones that bother me are the ...

Re: Stats servers down
The flat files are periodic snapshots of the stats, when a new user/donor submits a work unit they are automatically added to the flat files when the next snapshot is taken. The flat files for the teams contains - Team ID, TeamName, Point accrued (Score), Work unit returned (wu). This currently ~125...

Re: Donor ID/hexadecimal/username mix-up?
The advanced control panel is using your folding username. The new stats website is expecting your donor ID, which should be a number. For the vast majority of us this is a broken link. I personally use a custom link to get the correct page. As to your folding username itself, you are flagging it as...

Work unit upload failures
Starting around the 18th March I have been experiencing multiple upload transfer failures from my systems. The uploads do eventually go but sometimes bounce multiple times between work server and collection server before they go. Since the 18th I have logged 54 failures with about half of them (26 o...

Re: FaH api for retrieving donor's ID from JSON
Daft question - if you're updating for 20000+ users why not simply download the stats flat files and extract the team/user data from those?
It's got to be quicker and simpler than trying to DDoS the stats server.

Re: Download new work configuration option?
yes and no you can change the trigger point to request a new work unit when the current work finishes, I don't believe you can set it to request after the current one has uploaded. advanced control -> config -> expert -> extra client options name: next-unit-percentage value: 100 you can enter a valu...
