This may be a long shot, have you added the FAH client and working folders to the exceptions/ignore list in your internet security?

The servers are waiting on a load of big units coming back from slow computers. :D Seriously, I've had a big unit running on my laptop for almost 4 hours now with an ETA of another 18 hours. I suppose I'd better give you my logs. It seems run 3415 got to the end of its run, tried to upload to one server, got a short response, tried to upload to another server (which is current showing at capacity on the server stats page) and the project has now been dumped. I've looked up the WU status...

I wouldn't have thought that one unit running at 3 times the speed of the other, for the same project on the same hardware, was an acceptable variation.

I think that's the issue. He can only donate a few hours at a time and wants work units small enough that he can complete, return and provide some benefit.

You're perfectly fine to just be using one machine. Work units are the individual tasks your computer is assigned to fold and receive the points for. I folded with a laptop for a period, here's some of the things I did with it:- Lifted it up to expose the fan intakes so the airflow was less impeded....

I didn't know what was collected from faulty/failed work units and I know that you'd rather have more info than less, having down some software development myself (that's not an offer, I'm not that good).
