Do not blame a perfectly working core when using a (early) beta client. The only fix I can suggest here is to use v7 client. It's still broken one week later ... and no life signs from the author ... it doesn't start very well ...

If it starts failing when using the system, you might have to disable adaptive power management on the GPU. I don't know how to do it on AMD, but on nVidia control panel, it's called "Prefer maximum performance" in power management setting.
