I'm not sure what is going on here but this is a huge time chunk for a single percentage change. Is your CPU operating at normal speeds, not limited in BIOS or other settings, etc? No, I have never configured it that way. I also ran another project (BOINC, etc.) as an experiment and it worked fine....

What position is the slider in, and have you changed any settings in your configuration? It appears to me that you're only using 1/3 of your available cores currently. I checked the slider to make sure and to my surprise it was set to Medium. I just made sure it was changed to Full and then tried a...

Oh, sorry, I forgot to change the settings, there are no processes other than FAH that require the CPU often. I also measured the CPU temperature using lm-sensors and it was 65.8C. I also changed Checkpointing frequency back to the default of 15 minutes, but the ETA is still the same.

My a8 core is too slow to meet the final report deadline. CPU usage has been going back and forth between 35~60% all the time and is not at 100%.
