Yes, implementing pure double precision units in hardware requires a lot of extra transistors and space on the die. I'm not sure what AMD was smoking when they released Radeon 7, as I'm sure they have never got their money back from those cards.

Tflops is marketing nonsense. It died long time ago.
AMD has this dual issue design, which kinda doubles the tflops. While they have no intention to optimise for that neat hardware feature, marketeers make sure to still use bigger number better

Hip does not care about performance per watt. 5080 has more performance

If you are using Windows, before you reboot windows, make sure you pause all your folding on that PC. Then restart the PC.

Don't worry about that stuck WU anymore. It is what it is

If you folded WUs under anonymous, it will be counted for that username. If you change your username, any following WUs will count to new username. If you change the team, old ones stay where they are, new ones will be counted for your new team

Yes. It is on 12705. I had thought you said the species constraints had been adjusted, but maybe something slipped through the cracks. Yeah, constraints for 12705 have issues. That sucks. Please tell me when the issues have been resolved so I can re-enable beta. 12705 should be fixed now
