Re: how to stop search ignoring terms? Looking for a topic

Often three character words are ignored by forum searches because they show up in so many posts.

The fastest? 4090.

The best card price per “point”? Relying on someone else here.

The best watt of energy consumed per “point”? Someone else know?

Oooh, forgot about the WU counts.

Maybe there is some relation with points/WUs there to show what you are looking for.

Re: Point inflation - Longevity Credit

Hmmm. Bob William’s comments made me think. At first I was going to reply that a “point” is something that relates how far along the research was driven ahead. I don’t know much about the science at all, but always assume a point was essentially given when the proteins were “folded” to a new alignme...

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v7

Heh. HFM logs don’t seem to clear/truncate automatically. If I was FTP’ing you can specify a max logged size limit. But not when just writing out to an SMB Mounted share.

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v7

Turned off the Checkbox to Copy the "Log"... is working again... though without web viewable logs. I guess there is a logfile size limit or number of lines limitor something.

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v7

I should have said, this is saving to an SMB mount to a NAS box... so it is a path of W:\ which is where I've mounted the webshare directory. Has been working for a couple of years and just stopped.

Re: HFM.NET - Monitoring Application for Folding@Home v7

Hmmm. Trying to figure out what is going on with the web page being generated. I have stats in the HFM app itself, but the webpage (Web Generation) is showing up as everything was "blank". Seems to be locking up on one of the "log" files for one of the system that is around 6MB (...

Re: Too big units, comparing to just finished ones

Well, my solar electrons shove all the other electrons along the path forward… but if I didn’t pay they wouldn’t even be allowed to shove… or something like that. ;)

Re: No work assigments...

No issues here for a while now. Had a couple folders crash today. Think there might be something with older nVidia drivers and patch Tuesday. Upgraded nVidia (537 I think it is) to see if it stops. Still no “no work” issues for me, and looks like the nVidia driver update after the last Win10 update...
