I bought a 980ti gigabyte G1 Overclock. I have it on 1300 base clock 56c not counting boost this things a beast compared to 7970s. Running win 7 points vary but currenty getting 683,000-701,000 ppd by HFM on core 21 P9712. I noticed through out the day different WU with different points. http://host...

I ordered one to replace some 7970s, one of these should do what two of those were doing easily I would think...

On the 980ti would it work ok on an older x58 platform i7-920?

That was all HFM was showing bruce, I got to the machine looked like drivers had error or something.. I think windows had been on to long without a reboot or something said drivers had crashed folding had stopped then I got a blue screen when closing everything. It started folding that same WU again...

Appears to be better than 13.4, I was getting 215,000 ppd with 2-7970 installed 14.4 getting 259,000 ppd

Stuck in a couple 7970s last night in place of the 570s and dont seem to be getting the points its claiming. I uninstalled shut down removed the 570s installed the 7970s newest driver my same passkey but do not seem to be getting bonus points..

Sorry bruce forgot to add that I am using windows 7 with the video cards... I just hate to pick up a couple cards and in a few months wished I had gotten ATI/AMD cards..

rr: do let us know what you eventually discover. Will do Bruce, I swapped out the memory right quick didnt make any difference as I figured it wouldnt. May be the water block getting clogged and getting to warm water looks funky I havent changed it in years and didnt feel like messing with gkrellm ...

I dont know whats going on with the goofy thing must be throttling or getting to hot I started backing off the overclock that it had been running and its picking up speed lol got it down to about 10 minutes a frame.. Gave it the one unit till I get time to check it out...
