BTW I have been stopping folding via the WebUI and watching logs and it does seem to have a side effect at least causing the the client to hit the WU severs again. If you don't it seems to have a geometric back off to prevent flooding of the server that dispatches where the work comes from, or somet...

Is Windows and Linux treated differently? I started them both up a couple of hours ago and the Windows box has been getting WUs whereas the Linux box has not, both have a 4070 Ti as GPU. The Windows box has a 9900k and the Linux a 12700F - though CPU folding is disabled on both so not sure why that...
