Re: Folding@Home Client Control Android App
Thanks for your feedback! Regarding losing connection to host, could you describe this error a little more? E.g. how long after you open the more details screen do you get this error and what version of F@H are you running? The client needs send a heartbeat message to the device within 10 seconds, a...

Re: Folding@Home Client Control Android App
I've just uploaded an update to google play (should be live within a few hours!), new features include single slot control, ability to input a hostname instead of just IP for dyndns, allowing to view more details and some bug fixes. Please let me know what you think! I value your feedback

Re: Folding@Home Client Control Android App
Hello, I ran into an issue last night on the phone. When I start the app, the window for my connection will grey out. Sometimes it shows the contents before it goes away but most of the time not. So far the chromebook has not shown this issue. Auto updates are turned off on the phone, but in today'...

Re: Folding@Home Client Control Android App
Oooooh didn't even think about dyndns. I have some uses for that myself. That'll definitely be in a future version.Ichbin3 wrote:Looks good for me, thanks!
One more wish:
If I could put a name in the host section I could connect via dyndns too.

Re: Folding@Home Client Control Android App
Hi Patrick, thanks for your screenshots. I've actually already noticed that grey box error on my clients too. Should be fixed in the next version. I only display a max of 4 slots or the controls would be pushed out of view. I could experiment with adding all slots, but make the client view scrollabl...

Whoops - I'll make the percentages wrap round.
Glad to see it works well on a Chromebook! I hadn't even thought of testing on there.

Testing out the monitor app. Looking forward to watching it develop! Hopefully an ad free version will be coming out. Sorry mate, didn't see this! Glad to see you're enjoying it. I may make an in app purchase to remove ads, but I'll see how much interest there is in that first. Did you have any oth...

I've just put an update up on the play store, the app now shows you work unit percentage, allows finishing the work unit, automatic refresh and some little bug fixes (like longer names!). Link is in the original post! I'll have another update available in a few days, showing ETA, PPD, and other cool...

Folding@Home Client Control Android App
Attention Android users! I've been folding myself for about 3 years. I've always thought how nice it would be to be able to view all my clients' from my phone and be able to start/stop them from the comfort of my own couch. So I made an Android app to do just that. Currently, the app lets you add cl...

Re: Telnet connection closes after entering command
Hi, from further investigation, I can see that the client has clearly been updated to close the connection if the user is not authenticated and the command is not "auth <password>". This seems like an odd change, but that's ok, I'll deal. Thanks for your help.
