Re: Stats Not Uploading

If you have any information on a recent work completions that would be helpful.

There was recently a single server that had an issue but it is very rare that completed work units aren't credited.

Hey Joe_H!

I've tried to PM you a couple times and not sure if you are getting them. I know people get busy and such, just making sure you are seeing the PMs?

If not, could you please see if you can send me a PM?

Re: New FAH Stats platform !

Is it just coincidence that your user name here are the initials of the person that created the site? If not and you made it, you might seek input from regular folders for what information they might like to see that differs from other sources.

Re: Status of work units - Completed vs Failed

If you are using version 7.6.x you can also use an app called HFM.

https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=9903

It shows work unit completion or failure, points per day, dates and times of the work unit and other useful information.

Re: random re-assignment duplicating work?

I've seen that a few times myself. I have no idea what causes it, but usually it's not taking place quickly but more towards the the middle to end of the timeout time.

Re: Some errors and no points from GPU workload

I believe I have only seen clock skew from the system sleeping. Besides a system sleeping, I have seen clock skew reported on a machine that had I/O stall. In this case the ribbon cable connecting the hard drive to the logic board of a laptop had gone bad, replacing the cable fixed the problem. The...

Re: Where computers go to die

IF they will CPU fold and meet deadlines, the best use might be to get a few of them running and let them fold with the viewer running. It might stir up enough curiosity to get people asking questions and maybe get them involved in folding if they have sufficient gear. If the school would let you se...

Re: Some errors and no points from GPU workload

If your GPU or any part of your system is unstable, FAH will find the instability. It appears that after repeated failures it returned a bad work unit as failed for 18219, 3666, 1, 10 while is was work unit 02 for folding slot 01 (GPU). This work unit completed successfully for another user, so most...

Re: Finally online with my new computer!

Going from an older CPU to a 4060 is quite a jump in points and progress. It won't take long and you will think that the 16M is just nothing....

Re: Re: log file posting.

Did you get everything up and running?

Not knowing the weird details doesn't make anyone an idiot, just figure out the fix and accept that the software isn't perfect.

Re: No bonus, but why?

According to https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus one of the systems with a user/passkey pair you have entered has fallen below the threshold to get bonus points. In short, you have a system not stable enough at some point to complete the required 80% of work units correctly and on time. Though that...

Re: Re: log file posting.

Sometimes the client hangs up when updating, usually restarting it will solve the issue. In some cases a full system reboot is needed.

Can you find the part of the log that shows the connection IP of the server?

So you're still getting low PPD with the 4060 and the 2070 Super?
