Welcome to the F@H Forum Drizzt321, Please note that there's a known issue where the GPUs.txt file isn't downloaded when the client in V7.6.9 starts up. Hence, you were unable to add the GPU slot. However, after reboot, it did managed to get the file so you were able to successfully add a GPU slot....

Already tried that. I have to reboot, not stop/start F@H background agent? EDIT: Ok, stopped the background agent, started it as Admin. Went into the Advanced Control, added the GPU. It picked it right up. Stopped the agent/controls, after a few cycles got it back up NOT as Admin, and it's running n...

So I recently did a full fresh install of Win10 on my desktop on a new SSD. Just installed F@H, started up fine, but I only see a slot for CPU work. No GPU, which it had previously. I'll add another +1, since my home NAS is FreeBSD.

Or at a minimum allow reporting of host OS if running in a VM/container, that way you can make accurate decisions supported by data about supported client OSes.

I second this. My home server runs FreeBSD. I could go ahead and throw on a linux VM, but I'd prefer native, and thus native reporting of OS type.
