i don't have much to add but i can say that i do occasionally see the 10002 error, although i am getting WUs. for me it happens intermittently and the error says 512 bytes expected, 0 received. i had chalked this up to server overload. i think if you just go to those IP addresses @ :80 or :8080 the ...

11751 is also doing this but given the similarity in WU number i assume this is the same researcher... has been receiving this response for 4 hours now.

off topic in this thread but did you create a GPU slot in FAHControl? Configure > Slots tab > +Add

looks like since it started up again, i've had one BAD_WORK_UNIT on the AMD gpu but 2-3 good WUs. the BAD_WORK_UNIT error happened before any actual computation was launched (as far as i can tell) so maybe it was a corrupted download or something.

lol my AMD card just picked up 11761, we'll see if it finishes w/o error

Core_21 works on Nvidia since Tesla, and AMD from GCN until RDNA. Core_22 includes RDNA as well. So both work on both, but VERY new AMD cards need Core_22. On Laptops, many more AMD GPUs fail to work, but both have issues. Core22 definitely works on GCN cards as well, my R9 290x is for example curr...

OK thanks, sorry to be a pest...i added the slower NVidia card to the machine thinking it was roughly of the same power as the AMD card and was disappointed when it turned out to be kind of a dog; now it seems to be hogging the work... so maybe i'll just disable that slot and see if the AMD card pic...

thanks. that's weird then. the amd card is an RX560 so i guess that's covered by Core_21. dunno why it won't get any WUs. the logs just show the usual "no WUs available for this configuration".

dumb question- are available GPU work units able to run on any kind of GPU? i ask because i have 2 GPUs in my machine, one slow and one relatively faster. the NVidia GPU is old and takes about 24h to crunch work units from project 13871. the AMD GPU is much faster and probably takes about 8h to crun...

thanks. that all makes sense. i have basically 0 experience with windows but had to configure this 32-core machine with W10 so it's all new to me. when FAHClient pauses a FAHCore_* process, does that core process eventually exit or does it just sit there waiting for a command to start back up?
