I just had a 5900X die...... F. It was a few years old, but still! 18213 will have the highest PPD and 18723 is a Cancer and will have some of the lowest PPD. If 7.5mil is my lowest, I'm pretty happy with that. I didn't realize the 5900x was even that old, but I guess it is slightly over 2 years ol...

I recently upgraded to a 5900x CPU. Is CPU folding still needed? What are the best settings for it? Right now, I'm just using the same 9 thread config from my old 3800x. Should I do something like 15 / 9?

Eh, I just nuked the ubuntu install and stuck the folding client on windows. I only had ubuntu on that machine for the increase folding efficiency. Just don't have time to mess with it right now though.
Still folding, just 10% or so slower on windows now .
